Kristian Alexander has been appointed Chair of the Conductors Guild 2007 International Conference to be held in Toronto, for a first time outside the USA. This major cultural event will feature speakers from Canada, USA, England, Denmark, Finland, Italy, and Israel and will bring together internationally acclaimed conductors, instrumentalists, musicologists, educators, composers, writers, therapists, government officials and supporters of the arts from across the business world.

Kristian Alexander is one of the six conductors who has been invited by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra to conduct and to record a composition by a Canadian composer on January 17th, 2004.

Mr. Kristian A. Alexander was invited to work with Maestro Gustav Meier and Maestro Marin Alsop during the Cabrillo Music festival conducting workshop (Santa Cruz) in July, 2003.

On April 17th Kristian A. Alexander was invited as a member of the jury for the annual International music award of the International Baccalaureate Organization (London, England), which will be decided on June 27-30, 2003.

On January 10th Mr Kristian A. Alexander was invited to lead the Music examination team of the International Baccalaureate Organization (North America). With 1376 members in 114 countries, the IBO is the largest organization of private schools in the world.

On January 4th Mr Kristian A. Alexander was nominated and unanimously elected as a new member of the Board of the directors of the Conductors guild of America. He will be responsible for the creation of endowment fund, public relations, and advocacy. Mr Alexander is the only conductor member of the Board who currently lives in Canada.
